From Monstrelet's chronicle, a Burgundian source: "... and [with Jehanne] a preacher named Friar Richard, of the Order of Saint Augustine [sic - Richard was a Franciscan], who previously had been expelled from the town of Paris, where he had given sermons ... [in which] he had shown himself too partisan and belonging to the French faction."
